Sunburst supports green products, designs, and buildings. We aim for reusing any and all materials whenever possible. We recycle water that cools down components when they’re coming out of ovens. We reuse packaging supplies. We reuse shutter pieces – or regrind them and recycle them into new shutters. Each year we recycle hundreds of tons of materials.

When we package our window treatments to be transported to your residence for installation, we place reusable corner pieces on the sides of the louvers and use the least amount of cardboard to pack up the shutters.

Our interior shutters use paints that are environmentally safe and hypoallergenic. During our manufacturing process, none of our paints give off fumes. We mean it when we declare our paints aren’t toxic.
